D.Gray-man...

D.Gray-man is a great manga in my opinion.  The anime that recently came out is very good as well, and is comparable to the manga. There are a few filler episodes in the anime, but I didn't mind this at all since the episodes were well done and added a bit to the canon of the manga. If anyone isn't watching/reading this one, give it a chance. The manga is put out by Viz, and is inexpensive to buy.

Hmm, I like D.Gray-man a lot, but I don't get the anime at all. The filler eps are fine, but some of the action scenes are utterly bizarre... For instance, when Kanda and Allen are after the Ghost of Martel, Kanda ends up getting pummelled by the akuma for several minutes before Allen suddenly reappears on screen (unscathed!). Also, the adaptation of the earlier chapters make them seem kind of interminable, I think. There's something novel-like about the slow exposition in the manga that makes the pace difficult to adjust to the screen.

I love the opening and the ending to pieces, though.
