::blows the dust away:: I tend to use my LJ more than this place, but I need to use this account a bit since I have it. One of the reasons that I use LJ more frequently is probably because of the communities. I would love to see some kind of community feature or the ability to make groups here. I mean, come on - even You Tube has groups. It doesn't need to be the type of thing that LJ has. Many places have groups that are mini-forums, like Flickr, You Tube, and even Last Fm. One of the things that I use LJ for is finding out about new anime, chatting with people with similar interests, etc. I'd love to see an anime group on here, and maybe even a yaoi one.

On the subject of anime, I've gotten into one called Mythical Detective Loki Ragnarok. It's actually rather fun. It centers around the dark god Loki of Norse mythology who was banished from his place in the heavens by Odin and forced to take the form of a child. In order to get back to the realm of the gods, Loki must capture enough of the evil auras of spirits. To do this, he runs a detective agency along with his assistant Yamino, who is more than he seems. Soon, a girl named Mayura, who is a fanatic for occult occurences and mysteries, decides to tag along. Things grow complicated when some of the gods descend on behalf of Odin in an effort to take Loki's life. Here is a clip from episode one of the English dub of the anime:

I've got to get my hands on the Loki manga. ADV had put out two volumes of it [from the middle of the series!] before dropping it. There are some scanlations of the first two volumes, but no others. I heard that you can buy the English version of the series from Singapore, but I don't know how feasible it would be for me to procure it. Hopefully, Tokyo Pop or someone else will pick up the manga series from the beginning.
